Designed to decrease isolation,
enhance social and educational opportunities,
provide consistent support, disseminate information,
and increase communication among elder in the LGBT
community of color.
GRIOT VOLUNTEERS respond to
members who are homebound, in hospitals, or in
nursing homes. Providing them with support, advocacy
and escort assistance as well as social visits.
