GRIOT Circle Book Club
Meets bi-weekly to read and discuss the chosen book which has most often of the fiction genre. Members sometimes use audio books in conjunction with the physical book in order allow a greater number of people to participate and to enjoy the material.
The book club is a literature discussion group that meets weekly to share insight and in addition to gives our member a way to share and create avenues for friendship and socialization. The Book Club is autonomous and therefore creates their own private, customized book selections and sends notices to members. A reading guide is created for their book selection, and emails with meeting details, and RSVP request are made to all the members. The facilitator also sends a follow-up email to club members asking them to evaluate their book selection for their peers.
Our Book Club updates monthly so members who did not attend the weekly session can follow along with their own reading the information compiled from Book Club Planner, and shows our members what books clubs are reading now.
